About Us

Student Impact is the student newspaper of the University of Bath. Founded in 1999 it was formed when Spike and Sponge, two former papers at the university merged.

If you are interested in contributing to Impact, there are a number of things you can do. Each one of the sections (news, opinion, features, sport, ents and science) need people to write for them, whether that be articles, sports match reports or reviews of CDs and films. In addition we also need people to help maintain and improve the website (as you may have guessed), as well as take photos needed for certain articles.

If any of the above appeals to you, we have contributor meetings every Tuesday at 6:15pm in 3W 3.9. Alternatively you can email us (click on Contact Us) or drop into the Impact office on level 4 of Norwood House.
